Welcome to Year 3!

Welcome back to school! We hope you have all had a wonderful summer filled with fun, laughter, and special memories. We look forward to welcoming the children back and hope they are feeling refreshed, well rested, and ready for an exciting term ahead. We have lots of fantastic activities planned and can't wait to begin our learning journey together.

We have lots of exciting activities planned for Immersion Week, all linked to our new topic, Beneath the Surface. The children will be learning all about Pompeii and the eruption of Mount Vesuvius through a range of fun, hands-on experiences.

Throughout the week, we will be making model volcanoes, creating beautiful pasta mosaics, and taking part in an archaeological dig. During the dig, the children will excavate a variety of ancient artefacts and investigate their findings, just like real archaeologists.

These engaging activities will help bring our topic to life and fully immerse the children in their learning, preparing them for all the exciting new knowledge and discoveries that await them next week.

Our PE days are Monday and Wednesday.
