Welcome from the Head of School

 

A warm welcome to Knowl Hill C of E Academy. We belong to the Ashley Hill Multi Academy Trust and work closely with our sister schools White Waltham CE Academy and Bisham CE Academy to provide a fun and exciting place to learn. 

 

We have fantastic staff who reflect excellent classroom practice, genuinely care for all our children and enjoy their profession.  We have established strong, positive partnerships with our governors and parents and by working together we strive to give every child the best start in life; making them feel happy, valued and successful learners.

 

The school is welcoming, safe and secure and children regularly have the opportunity to learn both in the classroom and within the school's outdoor grounds.  The surrounding environment, including woodland, hills, fields and a nearby village pond, is used to ensure we broaden pupils' learning and independent thinking skills and teach them to assess and take risks. 

 

As a church school, we have a Christian ethos which encompasses everything we do.  We maintain a close connection with the Diocese of Oxford and we value our close links with St. Peter’s Church in Knowl Hill which is part of the Wargrave and Knowl Hill Parish.

 

We hope this website gives you a taster of the school, as well as a window into providing regular updated information for parents, pupils and regular visitors.

Our vision is deeply rooted in the biblical wisdom and Christian teaching of loving each other, encouraging and building each other up to achieve ones very best. Together we learn, love, achieve and succeed. Staff and students come together as one family to celebrate each other’s uniqueness, accomplishments, talents and gifts regardless of cultural, social, religious, economic or ethnic background. Every child is encouraged by the leadership, staff, parents and their peers to discover and grow their God-given talents and gifts to their fullest potential. We are a school family that believe by encouraging, inspiring and building each other up, we secure the best outcomes for every member of our school community.
